The Partakers Extended Learning Program
The Partakers Extended Learning Program allows us to…do something positive in an otherwise negative environment. It allows me to continue my educational journey and grow and prosper in unimaginable ways… words cannot express my gratitude.

What Is The Extended Learning Program?
Partakers established the Extended Learning Program and Correspondence Course Program to provide much-needed additional learning resources and opportunities for incarcerated students. The Extended Learning Program supports occupational and vocational certificates by provisioning distance learning courses and video lectures. The Partakers’ Correspondence Course Program provides academic courses to pre-release and shorter sentenced students. The main goal is to work with these students to help build self-confidence and provide motivation to continue their education after they return home.
Our outreach includes correspondence and video lecture series and courses, as well as vocational courses and certificate programs. Correspondence programs often require that exams be proctored, and we are grateful that the MA Department of Corrections (DOC) has approved certified Partakers Board members who have proctored these exams as well.
The Partakers Extended Learning Program provides… an honest opportunity to grow and rehabilitate… when you teach someone to think critically through the ELP lessons you change how they think, which changes how they act… through this acquisition of knowledge, the ELP provides all of us with a better chance for success when we re-enter society.
